طلب الرئيس جوزيف عون خلال استقباله السفير الفرنسي هيرفي ماغرو، دعم موقف لبنان الداعي إلى الانسحاب الكامل للقوات الإسرائيلية من الأراضي التي احتلتها خلال الحرب الأخيرة، والضغط لوقف انتهاكاتها اليومية، بالإضافة إلى العمل على إطلاق الأسرى اللبنانيين ضمن المهلة المحددة
